  1. Hi,
I am actutally a newly graduated Art Therapist. If you want to know more about art therapy, you can check out the American Art Therapy website: it is http://www.arttherapy.org

my own personal website on art therapy is:https://sites.google.com/site/holisticartexpressions/

there are also other art therapists i know who have blogs on art therapy on wordpress. One is called six degrees of creativity and the other i think is beth rommel.com

You maybe interested in this profession one day yourself. Usually one obtains a bachelors degree in either fine arts or pyschology or social work. Then a Masters degree in Art Therapy , (M.Ed)or a Masters Degree in Art Therapy andd Counseling. (MA) After graduating there are serveral steps to take to become an ATR. After that you can take a test to becomean ATR-B.C.

It is a nice profession because it helps others theough the use of artmaking and therapy.

    1. Wow thank you for your comment. I really want to get into Art Therapy, I think it would be a great combination of my skills. I didn’t do art at uni though and am having trouble find a way into become an Art Therapist. I have looking at various volunteering places but they seem to class with my day job at the moment.
